CALIFORNIA SISTER STATES--1/3 South of the Border--ARGENTINA, MEXICO, BRAZIL, EL SALVADOR

TO STATE
FROM BUREAU
SUBJ OUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORS

(JALISCO BUREAU)-- Following link indicates the state's ever-growing relationship with its neighbors South of the Border:

http://soir.senate.ca.gov/sisterstates

Noteworthy of the sister states are those in Argentina (Santa Fe),  Mexico (Baja-Sur & Norte, Jalisco, Queretaro), Brazil (Parana), and El Salvador (San Salvador). Mexico has over 30 states and California has sister states in 4 of those, making the construction of a "wall" a total embarrassment to the Golden State. The notion should not even be considered by a presidential candidate, someone from back East who is completely ignorant of the bonds between California and Mexico, not to mention the other Central and South American nations.

Some of the South of the Border relationships extend as far back as 1988 and as recently as 2015, as the list will show. There are also sister state relationships with Muslim and Communist nations.

END OF REPORT--
