#DEMCONVENTION--Yet Another Back-Easter--MARCIA FUDGE, OHIO--

TO HAYES
FROM PICASSO
SUBJ "THIS STUFF MADE IN NYC..??"

(PHILLY BUREAU)-- With the sudden departure of DW Schultz from the DNC political arena, the ticket had the opportunity to bring in someone west of the Mississippi, but failed again.

Now it's Marcia Fudge, the erstwhile Black Caucus boss who bashed Sen. McCain for his criticism over Susan Rice's comments on the 2012 Benghazi US Embassy attack. Fudge later went on to question CNN's dismissal of African-American journalists, calling the episode "troubling."

Another example of what to expect from the new DNC Chair is her bringing race into aspects of the political agenda--

According to Congressional Black Caucus chair Rep. Marcia Fudge, there were many reasons to blame for the Democratic Party’s loss, but African-American voters wasn’t one of them.
Fudge said that racism and gerrymandering in the South, along with party’s failure to mobilize young voters were the real reasons Democrats lost control of Congress.

Obviously, beside the fact that once again, the West has been segregated from the national political process,  the DNC hopes to cash in on  reverse discrimination and found an overqualified speaker on racial bias; whether in politics, journalism or the election process itself.

There was a time when the Black Caucus was an independent entity, with enough political clout to serve Congress its marching orders when the chips were down and the votes counted. Now it appears that it has become subservient to the Democratic Party, the other "Back-Easter" Party.
